My move has almost finished, so I rushed into one of my favorites. That is ——

Stargazing !

Searching to the net. —— Oh, there is a thing that is called “smart telescope” nowadays. An excellent machine that can do astronomical observation just by smartphone is. It is not an image from the eyepiece of telescope but saved the image as data, so it can be easy to edit.

I bought it right away (^_^)/.

I only did stargazing without posting, so the number of access is relatively low.

Next is the access by country.

China is heating up in my mind.

I chose a Chinese smart telescope. Dwarf mini is. It’s so nice ~~. I could get a high-performance astronomical telescope for 70,000 yen around. I refrained from telescopes priced 150,000 or 200,000 yen around. The prices are not smart (^_^;. I thought it can draw into a niche that the top had overlooked. The developers can see the new scene by competing with the top. Japan used to be good at doing such things. This is how TOYOTA and SONY have become the world-wide companies.

Now, only the lens of this telescope is made by SONY.

I’ve used the Passkey of Wordfence for a month

The security top of WordPress is truly deserved. No one can keep up with by this configuration. Japan made a huge mistake by losing its direction while standing at the top, but Wordfence’s dominance will likely continue for some time. It’s a world where it’s easy to see the direction, so all things that should be are just strengthened the finance.

The points of the need to use Passkey on WordPress is supposed to depend on the passwordless login and whether can disable XML-RPC call authentication — Is it possible to disable 2FA? —, so I will evaluate these points.

To say a conclusion from the start, it didn’t become completely passwordless.

Every two weeks after, this login screen appears.

But it is the configuration of self-hosted WordPress, so Wordfence cannot do anything. I can accept this configuration for once every two weeks.

In WordPress.com, it has the passwordless environment from the start, so no need to use this passkey instead. Login authentication uses WebAuthn, which complies with FIDO2.

It may be a bit careful for when Authenticator or others is used.

Whether is XML-RPC call authentication (2FA) disabled ? —— Wordfence recommends allowing 2FA with “Optional”, but my opinion is that no need to use 2FA with passkey, however. . .

I got this warning continuously. . .

The problem might occur when Jetpack login is requested.

This warning did not appear on the site that Jetpack is not installed.

However, I didn’t really understand what kind of problems might arise. So I will continue this examination, but “Jetpack – Website Builder” uses Jetpack Login.

It occurs a site that Wordfence is installed. Actually, this problem started around the time Jetpack login started, so it is no concern with passkey. Jetpack app conflicts with Wordfence.

However, this site had engaged to this app before Jetpack login started, in this case, there is no problem. I can access and edit the site freely. Whether I installed passkeys or disable XML-RPC call authentication, I can use it. It looks like the loading speed becomes a bit slowly. Does it get stuck by Jetpack login?

The Desktop score was 50 (Mobile score 15) until October 3rd, but after upgrading the Jetpack boost on October 4th, the desktop score declined to 36. But the mobile score has risen to 29. In fact, Jetpack Boost repeats this fluctuation, so I could not tell something convincedly.

I will continue this examination, too.

Problems with editing WordPress.com profile

During this examination, I failed to access my account of WordPress.com. It was accessible 1 or 2 months ago, though.

As I did not set up 2FA, I got stuck. . .

I did not publish the site yet, so I think it no need. As I used it mainly for connection with Jetpack. . .

It might be okay to login again, but I am afraid of goodbye forever when I would log out, so I was pending it at this time. It is the next examination.

Making an astrophoto from scratch

Somehow a new segment has begun (^_^;。

I’m a hidden astronomy fan, but I have not done astronomical observation yet. Because it’s so tough. I cannot stay up for hours in whole night. But with a smart telescope, once after setting up, all things are done by this machine. I can sleep while photograghing. No way I won’t do this.

I soon bought this telescope with a genuine tripod.

Altogether, it costed more than 80,000 yen. . .

It costs more than my PC set (^_^;。

But it is within an allowance, if you manage a budget, right?!

Challenge to The Sun

It was my first time stargazing, so I did not know anything from the start.

In first, I did not know how to use a tripod.

The guide how to use a tripod only explains how to stretch the legs. . .

But I did not know how to fix the telescope to the tripod~~.

So I roughly set up the camera and started stargazing.

However, even when I installed the dedicated app on my smartphone, I still could not figure out how to take an astrophoto. . .

The guide only explains the camerawork and how to connect it, without explaining taking an astrophoto in detail. It is supposed to need the tutorials like “Let’s photograph the Sun” or “Let’s photograph the Andromeda Galaxy”. Fortunately, there is a YouTube observing the sun, so I imitated it.

It was a sunny day with many clouds outside.

I started shooting by the timing partially in cloud.

Under thin clouds, the black spots were successfully captured. I decided to start shooting. It’s great that can check the condition with smartphone.

The result is below.

The image in a cloud captures sunspots clearly although the sun surface is uneven. It also clearly captures the active regions around the sunspots. It is where solar flares erupt.

I cannot resist this~~ ❤

Challenge to The Moon

I can get a huge success from the start (^_^)/.

Then I decided to photograph the moon in a clear night.

Succeeded for no reason.

I can capture the lunar surface clearly, but the image looks a bit dark.

I will retouch the image

with using Excel (^_^;.

The operation is easy for me, the basic items are lined up all.

Then finished.

A professional one has come (^_^)/.

Challenge to Saturn

I will challenge to Saturn as well. My desire never stopped.

Asking to AI, she said the Dwarf mini has a small caliber. . .

Something like Titan is visible beneath Saturn. . .

Zoom-in to check.

I can get something like the satellite Iapetus (^_^)/.

The satellite Rhea cannot be captured, due to Saturn’s reflected light is so strong.

Next challenge is to get the ring of Saturn. That’s no way.

I will do it (^_^)/.

The stack was finished as 186 shots because of clouds, but I succeeded (^_^)/.

I repeated it as same conditions, but none has come as the same shot.

Very tough work. . .

This is a reason why I cannot post anything in this month (a long excuse).
