I changed this chart from this month.

To see whether PayPal’s donation could actually be used, I transferred 1,000 yen to my account. But payment fee was charged then 924 yen was transferred. This donation function is only in business plan, the payment fee was 3.6%.

—— It’s not a high fee, I think. Other online payment services also take like this money, which the customers don’t appreciate. Anyway, I described the results on the income and expenditure report. However, PayPal business accounts cannot accept JCB cards (⁠ one of Japanese credit cards ), so it became hard to transfer money. I guess it is because this account is on the United States.

I can use my JCB card by my PayPal personal account.

The Number of accesses in November 2025

My site can get back to the ordinary days (^^;.

It’s nice to keep the viewers are over 100.

This month, I can report the number of Google AdSense’s access, too.

The number of page views is 443. . .

I felt that the number of Jetpack’s report is too few, however, it’s so different even using the same search engine. I will switch to Site Kit by Google-Analytics next year.

By the way, this month’s affiliate income was 14 yen.

The road to get 8,000 yen is too long way (^^;.

I go to WordCamp Kansai 2025

To fix Jetpack’s overall score is very low, I decided to go on a trip (^^;. I just found out that WordCamp was being held near my home, so I paid 2,000 yen to participate. It’s very reasonable~~.

WordCamp is a meeting which we choose and participate the favorite sessions. I wanted to watch all the sessions, but I chose the sessions I wanted to watch lively, because we could watch all sessions as video later. Sessions were so nice that I could attend a lecture of MIT engineer.
What I felt curious was the session ” Do you start from the Japanese translation ? ( 和訳からはじめませんか )” —— It’s a guidance about becoming a WordPress.org contributor and translating themes and plugins into Japanese. I’m currently in a mess at home (-_-;), so I will try Japanese translation after my problem would be solved.

There were a lot of booth by the sponsors, I asked around to get something hints. There was a Kusanagi booth, and I was able to ask various core questions. Kusanagi is one of Japanese proud that can make websites speed-up. I’m also using it. I asked this person for which is best to speed up. He told me that Wexal is best. Wexal is page-speedup technology using Kusanagi.

This technology is also used by ConohaWING.

—— I see. But my hosting service also uses Kusanagi, and also uses a similar technology as fast as Wexal. So I asked which was faster, but he couldn’t answer clearly.

It seemed a topic that even a skilful engineer couldn’t answer.

After the sessions, there was a dinner party. I imaged something like a snack party, but I was able to enjoy alcohol. —— Is this 2,000 yen?! I felt. It has the worth going at this point only.

In this party, I was able to contact with the engineers who worked in my hosting service. It’s good point of WordCamp to be able to meet such people. I was going to ask why the speed of my site became slow.

When I asked him about the low score of Jetpack, he said with slight laughing, ” You’ve used Jetpack.”

Jetpack slows down the speed, right. But it became faster than before.

When I said Google AdSense slowed down the speed, they told it depended on the speed of such external software. When I said the carousel of my site took time too long on the smartphone (it took about 30 seconds), they advised me to use SWELL as a theme. It has LazyLoad for any blocks, so it was able to increase the speed.

Watching the introduction, SWELL was able to set a video as a featured image.

It is an excellent theme as paid version.

I realized it quite fast to ask the professionals.

WordPress 6.9 makes it look faster.

While I was doing like above, WordPress was upgraded to 6.9. It announced the speedup, so I looked it up.

The desktop score is down 7 points, and the mobile score is up 16 points. . .

I calculated the time, it took 10 seconds around to display the carousel. It was shortened.

Hmm, I don’t need to change the theme.

After all, I choose the way not to spend money again (^^;.
