Upgrade Win7 machine to Win11

It is no longer a forbidden way nowadays.

I’ve finished the migration to a Win11 machine, so I will give it a try.

I’ll use Fly by 11 .

After browsing YouTube and the internet, I did it easily. But I couldn’t save any apps and files. Just a clean install, I could do. But I’ve already migrated my important files, so no problem. The setting was restored from Microsoft account.

Next, I’ll try to watch Blu-ray discs.

It cannot be watched by Windows Media Player, I installed a free software Leawo Blu-ray Player. It’s no problem.

It is a long time passed when I had watched a Blu-ray disc. Recently, I’m often watching streaming contents, the picture looked a bit poor for me.

DVD-R was also usable in a new Win11. I don’t checked DVD-RW, but it may be fine. My drive doesn’t support BD-R, but Win11 only supports DVD, so it’s probably not possible.

I can’t use TV tuner. . .

Next, I tried to watch TV on my PC. But I couldn’t do it from TV tuner, how hard I tried. TV tuner could be a thing of the past now.

I had to switch to the streaming broadcasts.

I use VLC media player .

It is successful.

I also added the subtitles, using Clipchamp.

The speed is 2.4GHz, so the sound skips frequently (^^;.

I cannot do the schedule recordings either.

My father is a man only to watch National TV ( people who achieve something have the different daily lives ), so I don’t want to watch TV specially, but I have paid money for this by law, so I subscribed to this streaming contents. I don’t need any other TV contents.

The picture quality is excellent.

I tried to use the recording by genuine Win11 system, but it didn’t allow me to record subscriptions, so I used a trick to record it ( gradually I did something illegal (^^;). The picture quality becomes a bit poor, but I think it’s better than Blu-ray’s.

I guess such people as like mafia are often seen in the society (^^;. I ignored it then install it anyway. And then it works fine. I had deleted it after installing it once before, that will be wrong.

It failed.

Once my PC will be infected by malware, there is nothing I can do.

It becomes no longer able to revert to Win10 when I upgraded ( it seems that Fly by 11 does not create a restore point. If I had created a restore point on Win10, it might have been able. But I did not. It was my mistake ), so there was no going back.

The installation stopped at the very early time, so I think it that TPM (Trusted Platform Module) authentication had failed.

I tried to reinstall by using Fly-by-11, but that also failed.

It just said ” Windows 11 has already installed.”

Maybe there’s something else I could do, but I gave it up this time.

Because it is just a story to use until it breaks.
