Monthly Report ( January 2026 )

Ads of Google AdSense are back.

Watching them, only erotic ads or the ad selling my house had come. . .

Is it something of provocation?! (^^;

As I created a donation block with Stripe, so I donated 100 yen to my site. Stripe’s commission fee as 3.6% is deducted, and when an email from WordPress.com was sent, it took money as 10% commission fee. I had 86 yen left. —— Is it a little expensive? But I understand it is a challenge I should create my own API with Stripe.

According to Copilot, it is different by plan.

I think Business plan is good for anything.

It can use PayPal button. Anonymous donations between PayPal accounts also can.
It’s a perfect “Gifting”.

Next is the access report.

At the beginning of January, when I simplified the English version of the home URL, views and visitors were exploded (^^)/. 199 accesses just in one day. But soon ordinary days came back. It is true URLs must be concise. Only one day however (^^;.

To be confirmed, I’ll check Google Analytics.

The number of access is fewer than.

I’ll check Google AdSense.

Much fewer than. The number of access is 383.

Which number do I believe ?

Site acceleration is succeeded

Before (left) and After (right) controlling by Jetpack Boost on Wi-Fi2.4GHz

I succeeded to accelerate my site (^^)/.

On above two GIFs, I calculated time after caching the images one time. It maybe can see the speed of functions purely. On the right, there is a delay to start loading, which seems to be due to Google Analytics, but the siderail ads is much faster. The difference between the before and after is 15 sec and 7 sec.

It can be done, using Jetpack Boost.

Delay unnecessary JavaScripts and combine the duplicate JavaScript and CSS with ——

“Image CDN”, that I want to use, is stopped because it interrupts GIF animation. By reducing the size to 50-80%. Also stopped “Image Guide”, it’s just okay to be careful about the image size by oneself. Google Analytics persistently points it out, but the newer WordPress can delay the load of images (lazy load), so it’s not needed.

I turned on “Cache Site pages”, because my Jetpack Score grows up. It caches data and faster to load the next time. But it doesn’t work much different from other page-caches. If you turn it on, make sure to stop other page-cache. Sometimes the data may not be loaded normally. Go to your server then stop this function.

—— Then, what about the change of Jetpack’s score. . . .

After the install of Site Kit
After the control by Jetpack Boost

Yeah~~ (^_^)/

I’m back to orange.

It seems bad to install too many plugins even if the trials.

And the plugin of access aggregation should be narrowed down to one.

Site Kit by Google doesn’t tell any solutions, so the overall, I think Jetpack is the choice. Because Google’s one drops the point by 17, and it visibly slows down the speed.
Therefore, from now on, I will trust on Jetpack’s number of accesses. I will use Google Analytics for a while, but I will get rid of it in time. Because AdSense can stand alone.
